How are Boveda packs used?
Simply unpack the desired Boveda pack and place it together with your cigars or herbs in the desired container or humidor and close the lid.
Boveda automatically gets to work gradually increasing or decreasing the moisture content inside the container.
Which Boveda packs are right for me?
Boveda 49% are suitable for storing valuable wooden musical instruments.
Boveda 58% & Boveda 62% are ideal for storing medicinal herbs, preventing the curing process from being interrupted and preserving valuable components and terpenes.
Available in the following sizes:
- 1g pack contains approximately 3.5g of herbs
- 4g pack for approx. 15g of herbs
- 8g pack for approx. 28g of herbs
- 67g pack for approx. 450g of herbs
- 320g pack for approx. 2500g of herbs
Boveda 65%, 69%, 72%, 75% & 84% (Season) were designed for cigars and humidors.
Please ask your cigar dealer or the manufacturer about the optimal storage humidity and the ideal Boveda pack size for your favorite cigars.
Use one (1) Boveda size 60 for approximately 25 cigars that the humidor can hold in total.
Example: For a humidor with a capacity of 100 cigars, use four (4) Boveda packs of size 60 at a time. Do you have a smaller humidor? Use fewer Boveda packs accordingly.
WHY SEASON (84%)
Boveda (84%) is a very special Boveda pack and releases moisture directly into the cell structure of your wooden humidor to create a better seal and prevent the wood from drawing moisture from your high-quality cigars.
SEASON EASY - Simply place the Boveda 84% RH pack in an EMPTY humidor for two (2) weeks. Discard the Boveda Seasoning pack when finished (this Boveda pack is not reusable) and replace it with your desired Boveda RH pack.
Note for first-class results
A Boveda pack can regulate the humidity in the container/humidor by approximately 5% up or down.
Please monitor the humidity with a hygrometer in the humidor or container to avoid excessive humidity and mold or drying out.
In our shop you will find a variety of Boveda options and storage containers to keep your herbs.
