Information on electrical and electronic equipment
Notice pursuant to Section 18 of the ElektroG (Law on the placing on the market, return and environmentally sound disposal of electrical and electronic equipment)
1. Information on the environmentally friendly disposal of old electrical appliances
According to the provisions of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG), we as a retailer are obliged to inform you about the proper disposal of old electrical equipment:
• Electrical and electronic devices must not be disposed of with household waste.
• Consumers are legally obliged to dispose of old appliances at a suitable collection point or an authorized take-back system.
• Old devices can be disposed of free of charge at municipal collection points or recycling centers.

2. Labelling of electrical and electronic equipment
Electrical and electronic equipment sold under the ElektroG must be marked with the following
Symbol marked:
♻️ Symbol of the crossed-out garbage can on wheels
This symbol indicates that the device in question must not be disposed of with household waste.
3. Return of batteries and rechargeable batteries
• If an electrical device contains batteries or accumulators that are not permanently installed, these must be removed before being handed in and disposed of separately.
• Batteries and rechargeable batteries can be returned to suitable collection points.
4. Deletion of personal data
If your old device has internal memory (e.g. smartphone, laptop, tablet, router, USB stick), you are responsible for deleting all personal data before disposal.
We assume no liability for data remaining on old devices.
5. Our WEEE registration number according to ElektroG
Our company is registered with the EAR (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Register), Nordostpark 72, 90411 Nuremberg, under WEEE Reg. No. DE 45086269.
This ensures that we fulfill our obligations to the environmentally sound disposal of old electrical equipment.
6. Collection and recycling rates in Germany
As an EU member state, Germany is obliged to collect data on the collection and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment and to submit it to the EU Commission.
