The Volcano Classic has long been a true vaporizer legend. Its design is reminiscent of a volcano, and that's exactly the impression the device conveys: a hot volcano that produces dense vapor instead of lava. The design is globally recognized and hardly needed any changes. However, the Classic's electronics, although the device still works excellently today, were no longer quite up-to-date. That's why there's the modern Volcano Hybrid. While it looks deceptively similar to the Classic, it is technically much more contemporary.

In addition to its design, the Hybrid's strong vapor is also convincing. This applies whether used with the tube or the balloon. This is precisely what the term "Hybrid" stands for: with the older model, only balloon use was possible to inhale the vapor from this desktop vaporizer. With the Hybrid, you can now freely choose between the tube and the balloon. Both systems deliver pleasant, dense, and clean vapor.

Heating up with the Volcano Hybrid takes anything but long. Approximately one to two minutes after switching it on, you can start vaping, depending on the selected temperature. With some other desktop vaporizers, you could almost make a coffee after switching it on before inhalation can begin.

Operation of the Volcano Hybrid has been deliberately kept simple. It is done either directly on the device via the large touch display or via app control. It should be noted that app control is currently possible via Android devices or via the web app. iOS and Apple devices are currently not supported.

Storz & Bickel is known for not doing things by halves when it comes to vaporizers. This applies to all models from the Tuttlingen-based manufacturer, whether Mighty, Venty, or Volcano Classic. The Volcano Hybrid is no exception in this regard and is designed for long-term use. This is also evident in the excellent build quality.

The device is entirely manufactured in Germany. This ensures you receive a genuine German quality product, where even the smallest details have been considered.

The wider a vaporizer's temperature range, the more different herbs can be vaporized with it. This is because each herb has its own boiling point at which vapor production begins. With the Volcano Hybrid, the temperature can be set precisely between 40 and 230 degrees. For comparison: the temperature range of the Volcano Classic, at 130 to 230 degrees, is significantly smaller.

Most electronic devices come with a two-year warranty. However, Storz & Bickel gives you an additional year of warranty under certain conditions. All you have to do is register the device with Storz & Bickel within four weeks of purchase. This also applies to the Volcano Classic, Venty, Mighty+, and Plenty models.

Due to its high purchase price, the Volcano Hybrid is certainly not a model for everyone. In terms of ease of use and vapor production, however, it is suitable for anyone who values uncomplicated handling and very good vapor quality. If you can budget a little more for a desktop vaporizer, this model is a very strong choice.
