With some models, yes. According to the product description the Starry 4 is suitable for herbs and concentrates, and the Fog Pro, Ace and Aria+ come with a container of their own for that. The V3 Nano, by contrast, is intended for herbs only. Anyone who mainly uses concentrates is better served by a device built specifically for them.

The V4 Pro and Starry 4 work with a replaceable 18650 battery with 2,550 mAh, the Fog Pro and XLux Roffu with 3,200 mAh. With a charged second battery you can carry on while you are out, without waiting for a socket. The V3 Nano has a 1,000 mAh battery that lasts around 25 minutes and is fully charged again via USB-C in about an hour. Only use suitable and undamaged batteries.

The V3 Nano is the smaller, simpler device: one button, hybrid heating and an automatic three-minute session in which the temperature rises from 200 to 220 °C. The V4 Pro heats by convection, can be set to the degree from 100 to 220 °C and offers session and on-demand mode. On top of that come three-step airflow, a color display, a replaceable battery and a glass mouthpiece that doubles as a 14 mm water filter connection. The V3 Nano, in turn, is particularly small at 13.3 cm and considerably cheaper.

On the V4 Pro the glass mouthpiece serves directly as a connection for a 14 mm water filter, so no adapter is needed. For the Starry 4, Vapotools by 157Grad offers water filter adapters in 14 and 18 mm as well as small glass bubblers to attach, and for the V3 Nano a glass adapter for 14 and 18 mm ground joints. Do not overfill the bubbler, dry the outside and draw slowly – the electronics do not tolerate water.

Brush out the chamber after vaping and wipe it with a cotton bud and a little isopropyl alcohol. Removable parts such as the mouthpiece and screens can be soaked in isopropyl alcohol for 10 to 20 minutes without their O-rings, then rinsed with clear water and left to dry thoroughly. The device itself must never go into water. On the Starry 4 the ceramic filter in the mouthpiece can be replaced separately, and on the Ace you simply push the chamber upwards to empty it.

In a dosing capsule you prepare your filling and then place it into the chamber complete. That makes filling easier while you are out and keeps the chamber cleaner.
