For a long time, DynaVap was considered the top dog among mechanical vaporizers. That could change with the Vaphit X Stainless Steel Kit. This model offers features that make it an exciting alternative to DynaVap devices, and at a truly competitive price! Below, we'll take a closer look at the special features of this small, robust vaporizer, whose manufacturer is already known for its extensive range of accessories for DynaVap products.
Admittedly, vapor production with the Vaphit X isn't quite as easy or consistent as with the DynaVap. However, after a short learning curve, flavorful and dense clouds of vapor are easily achieved. These clouds are in no way inferior to the vapor from a DynaVap herbal vaporizer; many even find them smoother and more aromatic.
The high-quality body is made entirely of stainless steel and is relatively heavy compared to other mechanical models. However, the body is extremely robust and can easily withstand drops or other mishaps. The only weak point is the borosilicate glass cap. This can break and should therefore be handled with extreme care.
The herb chamber holds approximately 0.15 grams—enough for a full session. The glass cap not only prevents herbs from falling out, but also ensures convection heating. This type of heating is not a given with mechanical vaporizers and is considered more pleasant by many than direct conduction.
The manufacturer didn't skimp on accessories. You might almost think they accidentally packed too much into the package, with so many O-rings, screens, and extras included. But that's expressly intended: You're not just getting a very good mechanical vaporizer, but a truly all-round, worry-free package.
The Vaphit X features an easily accessible carb hole for airflow control. Keeping it closed results in a higher draw resistance, but you'll be rewarded with excellent vapor.
If you don't want to use a butane lighter, you can also use the Vaphit X with an induction heater like the Cuba Header. This makes it particularly convenient to use.
Using the DynaVap differs significantly from the DynaVap in one respect: Here, too, the bowl is heated with a butane lighter, but without the "click" signal. Instead, you have to observe the color of the herbs. As soon as they turn slightly brown, the optimal temperature has been reached. With a little practice, this is easy to do. An induction heater can also ensure more consistent results.
