The Wolkenkraft Äris made quite a splash a few years ago. The seventh-generation atomizer impressed with its great premium features without the typical premium price tag. With the Wolkenkraft Äris Ultra, we've now reached the eighth generation.
Many rightly ask: What could possibly be improved on the classic Äris? After all, the predecessor model already offered almost all the features one could wish for in a portable dry herb vaporizer. In fact, the manufacturer took two years to add features to the new model that offer real added value.
Below we explain which innovations make the Äris Ultra special and for whom it is worth buying.
Improvements in design, cooler vapor and even better taste
The design of the Äris Ultra has been revised in several areas. For example, the base of the mouthpiece is now color-coordinated with the body. The original Äris was simply black—now the overall look is much more harmonious.
Additionally, the new model features a soft-touch coating that not only looks premium but also feels more comfortable and improves grip. Also new is the gold-plated ring on the mouthpiece. While not a technical requirement, it adds an additional touch of elegance to the device.
A significant upgrade concerns the heating chamber: It is now made of titanium. This not only ensures cooler vapor development but also optimizes the flavor, even though the previous model already offered virtually unbeatable flavor.
Cleaning made easy & extremely fast heat-up time
With some vaporizers, the time-consuming cleaning can quickly spoil the fun, but not with the Äris Ultra. Both the heating chamber and the air duct are particularly easy and thorough to clean. The air duct is fully accessible and removable, making maintenance a breeze.
The heat-up time is also impressive: Add herbs, turn on the device, and the Äris Ultra is ready for use in less than 30 seconds. This is a real time advantage compared to many other devices, some of which take over a minute.
Improved timer & quick charge function
Another practical feature is the new session timer. While the previous model offered a maximum of six minutes, the Äris Ultra now offers up to seven minutes. The remaining time is clearly displayed on the energy-saving OLED display, along with all other settings and functions.
Also new is the fast charging function via USB-C. A corresponding, high-quality USB-C cable is already included in the delivery, so there's no need to purchase a separate cable.
Additional extras and a five-year warranty
In addition to the features already mentioned, the Äris Ultra offers a few other extras. One notable feature is the new Capsule Caddy that comes with the device. This contains two capsules into which you can place ground herbs for perfect dosing or to keep them handy for on-the-go use.
The standard warranty for electronic devices in Germany is two years. The Äris Ultra comes with a manufacturer's warranty that, at five years, goes far beyond the standard. So, if you use the vaporizer properly, you won't have to worry about anything breaking for half a decade!
Who is the Äris Ultra suitable for?
If you already have the standard Äris, you don't necessarily need the upgrade unless you're desperate to enjoy its new features. Otherwise, this model is worth buying for basically everyone. With its features, it can still be considered "modern" for at least the foreseeable future, and the five-year warranty is a nice bonus that most other vaporizer manufacturers don't offer.
How to use the Äris Ultra
- Finely chop your herbs and fill them into the heating chamber.
- Place the mouthpiece base firmly back onto the device.
- Press the power button five times in a row to turn on the Äris Ultra.
- Select the desired temperature using the plus and minus buttons.
- Wait until the device is fully heated. A short vibration indicates that the vaporizer is ready for use.
- Pull slowly and evenly on the mouthpiece to inhale the vapor
- End the session either by pressing the power button five times or let the timer run down automatically.
