Larger heating chamber and faster charging
The heating chamber of the older Pax Mini could be filled with up to 0.25 grams of herbs – completely sufficient for many users. But those who like to vape more intensely and for longer can look forward to a significantly larger chamber with the new Pax Mini New Edition 2025. It now holds up to 0.5 grams of herbs, twice the amount when using the "Standard Oven Lid". If you prefer something more discreet, simply use the "Half Oven Lid".
Due to its higher performance, the battery only offers a runtime of around 60 minutes, but it can be fully charged in just 90 minutes. This is a real advantage, especially for impatient vapers. Conveniently, the battery is charged via a modern USB-C port, and a magnetic charging cable is included.
Multiple heating modes and more intense steam
The original Pax Mini offered no temperature selection – a fixed heating mode, no adjustment. That's changing now. The Pax Mini New Edition 2025 features four heating modes with temperatures between 180 °C and 215 °C. This allows for more personalized sessions and a wider selection of herbs that can be optimally vaporized.
Pax Labs has also improved the vapor production: Instead of 1.6 mg of particle mass per puff, the new model delivers an impressive 2.5 mg. A clear difference that you as a user will notice, especially if you value dense and aromatic clouds of vapor.
Haptic feedback and LED brightness control
The new Pax Mini now informs you via haptic feedback as soon as the desired temperature is reached. This means you no longer have to pay attention to the LEDs to know when you can get started.
Also new is the adjustable LED brightness. While this feature isn't a must-have, it provides added convenience, especially in varying lighting conditions.
Three-year (limited) warranty
The warranty period has also been improved. Those who register their Pax Mini New Edition 2025 with Pax Labs after purchase receive an additional year of limited warranty, for a total of up to three years of protection.
Who is the Pax Mini New Edition 2025 suitable for?
If you are already satisfied with your current Pax Mini, there is no compelling reason to switch. However, if you want more vapor power, shorter charging times and modern features, the New Edition is the perfect choice.
While the battery life is about 60 minutes shorter than its predecessor, this is hardly a significant drawback when considering the increased performance. Of course, the new Pax Mini can't compete with large premium devices like the Mighty+ or the Venty . Nevertheless, it is an excellent, compact secondary device – ideal for on the go or as an uncomplicated introduction to the world of vaping.
