All about the G Pen Melt Hot Knife for clean handling of concentrates
The G Pen Melt Hot Knife, finished in a classic black color, is a compact, electrically heated dab tool designed for the clean and controlled transfer of concentrates. Instead of laboriously scraping sticky material off a conventional tool, the convenient Melt heats its ceramic tip at the touch of a button. This makes the concentrate detach more easily from the tip, allowing it to be placed precisely into a banger, e-rig, or the chamber of a compatible vaporizer.
Measuring only about 10 cm in length, the G Pen Melt fits easily into a small jacket or trouser pocket or your accessory kit. The high-quality aluminum housing keeps the weight low, while the included protective cap covers and protects the ceramic tip during transport.
Ceramic tip for controlled concentrate transfers
The ceramic tip reaches approximately 150 °C when activated. This heat is sufficient to allow sticky concentrates to glide off the tip in a controlled manner. As a result, fewer residues remain on the tool, and you can place small amounts more precisely.
This is particularly practical for materials that are not quite as easy to scrape off completely with a cold dab tool. The G Pen Melt is suitable for filling classic bangers or e-rigs, as well as for devices in the G Pen range, such as the G Pen Micro+ or G Pen Hyer.
Operation is intentionally uncomplicated. You pick up a small amount of concentrate with the ceramic tip, position it over the desired chamber, and hold down the button. As soon as the material detaches, you release the button.
One button instead of complicated settings
The G Pen Melt requires neither a display nor various temperature settings. The heating power is specifically calibrated for the controlled melting of concentrates. This means you do not have to select a temperature before use.
You control both the device and the heating process using the single button. The travel lock reduces the risk of the hot knife accidentally activating in your pocket. Together with the included protective cap, the delicate ceramic tip remains protected while on the go.
With dimensions of approximately 10 x 1.27 x 0.64 cm, the Melt is significantly smaller than many classic dab tools with an integrated battery. It therefore takes up hardly any additional space, especially for a mobile setup.
Modern USB-C with pass-through function
An integrated 500 mAh battery operates inside the slim aluminum housing. It is charged via USB-C. A full charge takes approximately one hour with a suitable USB-C cable.
The pass-through function is practical: If the battery is empty, you can also use the G Pen Melt while it is connected via USB-C. You do not have to wait for a full charge and can continue vaping seamlessly.
Please note that a USB-C cable is not included in the scope of delivery. If you already own a suitable cable, which is likely the case in most instances, you can easily use it for charging.
Quickly cleaned and ready for the next use
Concentrate residues are easiest to remove while the ceramic tip is still slightly warm. Carefully wipe it off with a cotton swab dampened with a little isopropyl alcohol.
The complete device must not be soaked in alcohol or submerged in liquid. A quick cleaning after use prevents thick residues from sticking to the tip. Allow the ceramic tip to cool down completely afterwards and replace the protective cap.
