All about the Truemidity Plant Edition 4 g with 58% humidity control
The Truemidity Plant Edition Humidity Pack with 4 g and 58% RH helps you store dried herbs and plants under consistent conditions. The 2-way system independently reacts to the humidity in the sealed storage container: if the environment is too dry, the pack releases moisture. If it is too humid, it absorbs moisture.
The 4 g version is suitable for up to about 15 g of plant material, making it a practical size for smaller storage jars and containers. You don't need to refill water or make any adjustments.
58% RH for controlled herb storage
RH stands for relative humidity. This Truemidity pack is designed to stabilize the humidity in the container at approximately 58%. This helps to prevent excessive drying out as well as high moisture levels.
Especially with dried herbs, a more uniform storage environment can help to better preserve structure and aroma. The 58% version is particularly suitable if you want to store your plant material slightly drier than with a 62% pack.
The regulation works in both directions. You therefore do not need to decide in advance whether moisture needs to be added or removed. The pack adjusts its effect to the conditions in the container.
Plant-based solution without salt additives
Inside, plant-based cellulose treated with pure water is at work. Moisture can be exchanged with the environment in a controlled manner via a special membrane.
Truemidity avoids gels as well as salt additives and corrosive salts. There is no loose liquid that you need to fill yourself. The system is also designed not to affect the taste of the stored plant material.
For the best effect, you should use the humidity pack together with your herbs in a container that is as airtight as possible.
4 g for up to 15 g of plant material
The size of the humidity pack should match the stored quantity and the container. The 4 g pack is intended for up to about 15 g of dried plant material or for containers with a volume of up to approximately 0.25 liters.
This makes this version particularly suitable for compact storage jars. For larger quantities, you should use larger Truemidity packs accordingly so that the humidity regulation matches the size of your supply.
Simply insert and let it regulate automatically
The application requires no preparation. Remove the Truemidity pack from its outer packaging and place it unopened together with your dried herbs in the storage container. Then seal the container.
The actual humidity pack must not be cut open or opened. It can be placed lying down or standing up in the container and begins regulating independently.
Depending on storage conditions, a pack can be used for up to about three months. Frequent opening of the container, temperature, and initial humidity influence the actual duration of effect. If the pack becomes increasingly firm and loses its flexibility, it is advisable to replace it.
