All about the Vapman Click
The INHALE Vapman Click is a purely mechanical vaporizer made of solid wood. All it needs is the flame of a jet lighter – and an audible click tells you when the temperature is right. It comes as the Classic in walnut, padouk, amaranth copper brown and olive, the Founder Edition, and as the Pure in cherry wood.
Swiss design, handmade in Italy from 33 precision parts: wood, stainless steel, brass and a copper bowl plated with 24-carat gold. Individual parts can be replaced, and all Vapman accessories fit.
The click: temperature you can hear
Heat the Vapman from below and it clicks audibly as soon as the vaporization temperature is reached. Now you draw.
As the bowl cools down, it clicks back at around 180 °C. That's your cue to heat it again. INHALE sums it up like this: inhale until it clicks, then repeat. Each click gently shakes the herbs, so they heat more evenly.
Gold-plated copper bowl: fast and even
The bowl is made of copper, plated with 24-carat gold and shaped like a wok. Copper conducts heat very well. After about 3 to 5 seconds the temperature is reached, depending on the flame length.
The Click works as a hybrid: the bowl passes heat directly to the herbs, and brass nozzles feed hot, fresh air into the chamber. The gas from the flame stays outside.
The chamber holds up to approx. 0.2 g. It works for small amounts from about 0.05 g as well as for a full load, for dried herbs as well as for resins.
Airflow and cooling spiral
There is an air inlet in the middle section. Turn the mouthpiece to close it fully or partially. For denser vapor you can also cover it with your finger. INHALE recommends starting fully closed and then opening the airflow to taste.
The black POM mouthpiece holds a stainless steel cooling spiral. It cools the vapor on its way to you and can be removed for cleaning. The Founder Edition has a matching olive wood mouthpiece.
Classic or Pure: five woods, one principle
Heating and handling are the same on both: the same gold-plated bowl, the same click, the same chamber. The difference lies in the wood and the heat protection.
The Classic comes in walnut, padouk and amaranth copper brown. Walnut is dark with a calm grain, padouk glows reddish brown, and amaranth is especially dense and durable with a warm copper-brown tone. The Classic has heat protection made of mica: the fine mineral layer spreads the heat more evenly and makes the device more durable.
The Founder Edition is the Classic in olive wood, with a mouthpiece made of the same wood. According to INHALE, it is the personal favorite of founders Michael and David. Over time, the olive wood develops a beautiful patina.
The Pure is made of warm cherry wood. Its heat protection is created by carefully charring the wood. The surface protects the wood and gets its own pattern in the process.
Every piece is made from natural wood, so the grain is always a little different.
How to use the Vapman Click
- Fill the chamber with ground herbs, but don't overfill it.
- Put on the mouthpiece.
- Heat the bowl from below with the jet lighter from a distance of about 1.5 cm until it clicks.
- Draw slowly until the Vapman clicks back. Then heat it again.
The flame length sets the temperature: a longer flame means more heat. You'll find a suitable lighter among our jet lighters, for example the INHALE Premium Jet Lighter.
Cleaning and care
Empty the chamber after every session, ideally with a small brush. The screen and the heat shield underneath can be removed for thorough cleaning. Soak a heavily soiled screen in isopropyl alcohol. Keep wood and alcohol apart.
You can soak the POM mouthpiece in cleaning solution or hot water – pull out the cooling spiral first. A wooden mouthpiece should only be cleaned dry and with care. Treat the wood with a good wood polish now and then. The mica layer of the Classic can rub off slightly; according to INHALE, this is harmless.

What does the second click mean?
When it cools down, the Vapman clicks back at around 180 °C. Keep drawing until then, then heat it again. This keeps you in the right temperature range. INHALE puts it simply: inhale until it clicks, then repeat.
What's the difference between Classic and Pure?
Heating and handling are the same: gold-plated copper bowl, click signal, chamber up to approx. 0.2 g. The difference lies in the wood and the heat protection. The Classic has a mica layer and comes in walnut, padouk, amaranth copper brown or olive (Founder Edition). The Pure is made of cherry wood with a charred surface and is the more affordable choice.
What is the Founder Edition?
The Vapman Click Classic in olive wood, with a mouthpiece made of the same wood. According to INHALE, it is the personal favorite of founders Michael and David. The olive wood develops a patina over time. Technically it matches the other Classic models; the wooden mouthpiece replaces the POM mouthpiece with cooling spiral.
How much fits in the chamber?
Up to approx. 0.2 g. For a small session, about 0.05 g is enough. Fill the chamber loosely and don't overfill it, so the heat can pass through evenly.
Can I vaporize resins too?
Yes. The Vapman Click is suitable for dried herbs and resins. For resins and concentrates, INHALE also offers its own concentrate screen.
Which lighter do I need?
A jet lighter with an adjustable, focused flame. The INHALE Premium Jet Lighter has a 9 ml tank, is refillable and works with both Vapman and Lotus. It is shipped empty. You'll find more models among our jet lighters.
How do I adjust the airflow?
Turning the mouthpiece closes the air inlet in the middle section fully or partially. INHALE recommends starting fully closed and then opening it to taste. For especially dense vapor, you can also cover the inlet with your finger.
How do I clean the Vapman Click?
Empty the chamber after every session, ideally with a small brush. The screen and heat shield can be removed; soak a heavily soiled screen in isopropyl alcohol. Keep wood and alcohol apart. The POM mouthpiece can take cleaning solution or hot water – pull out the cooling spiral first. Clean a wooden mouthpiece, like the one on the Founder Edition, only dry.
Does the wood get hot?
Mainly the bowl gets hot. Wood absorbs heat, and there is heat protection on top: mica on the Classic, the charred surface on the Pure. Hold the Vapman by the wood while heating and aim the flame at the bowl only.
Does the Vapman fit in my pocket with its case?
Yes. The Vapman Click fits into any jacket or pants pocket together with its hard case, which makes it ideal on the go.
Will my existing Vapman accessories fit?
Yes. According to INHALE, all Vapman accessories are compatible with the Vapman Click.
How is it different from the Lotus?
Both are heated with a jet flame. The Vapman Click works as a hybrid with a gold-plated bowl and tells you the temperature with a click – a good place to start. The Lotus heats a flower-shaped heating plate and works with pure convection. It sits on a glass pipe or water filter and takes a little more practice.
